Saturday Pick You Up: Be Careful What You Ask
Clarence Darrow was a great lawyer. What made him great was that he always knew what the answer was before he asked. Then he lost his fastball. So, in 1938, some thirteen years after his famous Scopes trial, he asked Russell Owen, a reporter who had covered the Trial, a question: ‘Do you think I look eighty?’ Russell responded, ‘Mr. Darrow, you have always looked eighty years old.’
Be careful what you ask because you may find out more than you want.
That was great!!!
